About The Artwork
This work was inspired by a bronze leaf ball created by artist Liz McCue. I hope viewers will realize the complexity of the relationship between natural and found objects; I hope they will realize that man-made objects spoil nature but also that all objects have use and worth. They should be recycled if they are not wanted. I like sculpting and drawing with metal. I find leaves to be evocative subjects. there was a time when I drank coke often. I saved the cans to use in this sculpture as found objects.
