Born in Redcliffe, Queensland, Australia, I was a budding artist from a young age. At the age of 16 I started studying visual art at Queensland College of Art (QCA) at Griffith University. By the age of 20, landed my first creative role spraying designs onto surfboards that were exported to Japan. From there, I went on to work as a Graphic Designer and later as an Art Director in advertising agencies and marketing teams. Over the years, I continued to explore my creativity, developing a series of sketchbook illustrations inspired by my travels and personal journey. These works evolved into limited edition monochrome prints, a collection of paintings, and one-of-a-kind sculptures. A true believer that creating a work of art through the mediums of acrylic paint, with a pen on paper, or clay is the best form of artistic expression and demonstrates a true connection to our creative universe. Since 2010, I’ve exhibited internationally, achieving creative milestones around the world. My first solo exhibition took place in Madrid, Spain, followed in 2015 by a group show at Agora Gallery in New York City, alongside artists from across the globe. In June 2022, I held a solo exhibition at Spazio Tadini Home Museum in Milan, Italy - graciously presented by my friends at Monteoliveto Gallery. Most recently, I’ve focused on a new series of ornate ceramic wall sculptures, exploring themes inspired by the elements of nature. What I love about viewing art in a gallery environment, is its power to transport you. You can wander through a gallery and suddenly find yourself drawn into a portal that transcends space and time - completely absorbed in the present moment, deeply connected to the artwork before you. As you explore your thoughts and emotions in response, hours can slip by in what feels like minutes. That, my friends, is the true art of meditation. I have recently been award El Greco - Premio de las Bellas Arts 2025 in recognition of outstanding talent, vision and dedication to the arts. Just as El Greco is remembered for a distinctive personality, unique style and bold innovation that shaped the history of painting, as a recipient of this award I have been recognised for demonstrating an equally powerful individuality and creativity in my artistic journey.
