Vibration Sculpture

The work is a "stone" of lead hanging on a bundle of corrugated steel ropes. The ropes are attached to a metal box fixed to the wall, the effect I want to achieve and with it to affect the viewer is creating an illusion that the "stone" is roaring in the air rather than weighing. This is achieved by counting more ropes that symbolize a group of people looking in one direction and struggling for a cause, and the "stone" is the difficulty they have to deal with and succeed when they are together. Notes: The work is disassembled and will be sent in parts and should be mounted metal box and concrete base on the wall with two dowels. Dimensions of metal box are 10,5 x 10,5 x 10,5 cm. Dimensions of lead "stone" are 14 x 8 x 7 cm. Dimensions of concrete base are 14,5 x 15 x 9 cm. The work total dimensions (height) varies according to the installation and can be from 40 cm to 130 cm. On the picture work is monted 80 cm
