ABOUT THE ARTWORK
I have made a series of birdlike caracters inspired by dreams and the subcontious. They are hammered from sheet metal and the copper sheet sculptures have been treated with household chemichals, vinegar and amonia to give them their colours.

I am an artist born in 1972. I am living in the forrests in the south west of Sweden. I my education is as blacksmith and iron sculptor and I still use metal as one of my main materials although I verry much have been working in clay and concrete in the latest years. I am verry interested in humans and the subconscious. Often inspired by dreams, misunderstandings, or things I see that I interprete wrongly. Like trees in the mist, and animals moving in the corner of the eye.
