The name is taken from Świętowit - a deity worshiped by the Slavs, as a symbol of our past, our ancient roots in closeness and respect for nature. This time with the face of a woman. The sculpture is a kind of manifesto. With this performance I want to express my feelings towards the rights that are being taken away from us. Red lips symbolize the power to speak, eyes closed, sadness and reverie. On the head you can see the crown chakra, a symbol of a woman's connection with her intuition, with a higher source (God, Creator, knowledge). “At Świętowit people consulted on many important matters. as the god of vegetation, he could foretell prosperity or crop failure in the coming harvest. Every year, on the occasion of the Harvest Festival, the priest who performed the rituals pulled the horn out of the hand of the stone Świętowit, checked how much honey (or beer) poured in the previous year was lost, and announced an abundance if the cup was full, and ordered to stockpile if the honey (or beer) was depleted . Świętowit was also a war deity - he was the one who decided about the end of the war, and - according to one of the typical ideas of Slavic mythology - it was believed that the gods rode horses at night in order to gallop across the vast areas of Slavic lands. The white horse of Świętowit, an integral part of the temple, was considered an intermediary in contacts with the deity. He could speak on his behalf in matters of battles and planned expeditions. A fortune-telling horse, passing through a row of spears stuck in the ground, if it first raised its right hoof, was a success, and if the left one - it was abandoned.
