Wooden mask Sculpture

I was born in the Czech Republic in a small historic town, Karlovy Vary, where I have lived all my life. The most scientific inspiration for me is nature and its principles and natural cultures. I try to approach and materialize these principles with my work. I prefer to use materials for this - wood, bones, leather, antlers, silver, stone. All materials are fascinating to me, because they are alive.WOOD is a beautiful,manageable and well workable material with hundreds of years living existence through the forest.With my craftsmanship, I like to get as close as close as possible to capture the overall elements and share them with you. BONES is a natural noble material, reminiscent of the element of death. It is used for marquetry, decorating wooden products. Bones have memory.Our family has been working with wood for three generations, joiners, wood turners, and I try to bring the artistic side of creation as well. I thank my ancestors for the experience.
