About The Artwork
"Worms" is a humorous reflection on the cycle of life, as the artist explores the theme of aging, starting with a selected piece of decomposing wood. SBBoursot accentuates the natural worm/grub lines, adding oversized hand made worms, while reds, golds and carbon colours merge on other side under a resin finish. The inner side and the outward, presented to the world side. It is engraved with the words “The worms will always get you”. Presented on a reclaimed wood base that has been coloured and resined, with an opaque acrylic post. Artist initials engraved on the sculpture.
