The idea of ‘dynamism’ always attracted me. As a sculptor, I am focused on catching the sense of movement into my works. Most of the works that I make are those of sportspersons or dancers. I try to capture certain energetic moves performed by these people. My liking for dynamism in movements went up a notch when I started making installations. The subject of these installations ‘balloon’ was so different yet so similar. I saw floating balloons as one would a dancing human figure. The balloons have so much energy and watching these fly could be so joyful; the way wind moves them in space talks so much about dynamism.
