I am interested in flags, the way a piece of cloth attached to a pole can be used, as symbol or emblem. It can signal surrender, loyalty, resistance, or victory and has the power to evoke a range of emotions from pride, love, to hate, and oppression. Within is the dichotomy of a playful flag at the half-mast.
