ABOUT THE ARTWORK
These wooden vessels are for me like humans. They have a inside and outside form. And the wood has "wounds". Here I have coverd them with a golden colour. These wounds are invaluable for a life. So this vessel gets a harmony again. The german words "und doch" mean something like "and still" or nevertheless. Afterwards I heard that in Japan there would be a tradition of "broken things". In Germany this motif is used as a postcard by psychologist in hospitals for examble.
