ABOUT THE ARTWORK
the piece starts by cutting 15 chamfer strips and attaching them to a wood board backing.the piece is painted white acrylic.i then start with hundreds of handcut paint swatches and create a geometric design in each direction.the final step is to coat the entire work in 2 coats of resin for durability and depth.finally,i matte coat the work to cut down the sheen.the work measures 24 inches square.
