ABOUT THE ARTWORK
after reading uncle toms cabin,this is how i imagined the ice floe at end of novel.i started the work by cutting out a hundred shapes ,all beveled and miter cut.i then glued them to a wood panel 23 inches in diameter.the entirs work was painted w/ spray acrylic,coated 3 times in resin,then painted again.this method gives the art a watery effect.
