1964 born in Stuttgart/Germany1981 Spent one year in Spain and Morocco. She created her first wooden sculptures in Gaucn, a small village in the south of Spain between Mlaga and Gibraltar.1982 Relocation to Germany. She joined an artist community in Bavaria where she studied wood carving for three years. 1985 Started to exhibit her work and participated in several sculpture symposia. 1985 Visiting student at the Nuernberg Academy.1986 Began working with bronze and created her first bronze sculptures.During this time, HRU established a cast foundry with her partner, Robert Diem. 1994 First works for the public sector were performed. Due to increased interest additional work was requested for the public sector.1998 Relocation to an old vicarage with stables (1580) in Aschach (between Nuremberg and Regensburg)] where Robert and she renovated the buildings and now serve as studio, workshops, and an exhibition hall.
