sendiak eta ahaideak ( family and relatives)III Sculpture

On the last times , one of the ways that my sculpture work revolves is about ideas like series, the replica, the copy or the likeness. If the idea of the series has been very used since Donlad Judd to Andy Warhol like strategy to limit a certain view of the work of art like something unique, my will follows others courses. I don't only want to make replicas or almost equals works of art but to induce a reflection about ideas like the likeness, the artistic, stylistic and generational bonds, the original and the copy, the gestation of the work of art and the relation between the model and the definitive work and how it puts in concrete form. In this way , on the case of the works that form Sendiak eta Ahaideak ( Family and relatives) series, starting from a a basic structure ( the gold rectangle) I’ve created one series of images whose nexus appear more fragile. I´d want to bring echoes that the XX century art has been, since the Avant-garde of the first decades to the later movements after the World War II and the end of the century. The light common traits between a work and another of the whole evoke these stylistic , ideological and formal ties of these movements.
