The Netherlands in the jear 1946 in the town ,[150000 inhabitants ]Breda.
Started 15 years old my study at the :Academy Of fine arts St Joost, in this town.
In my work,I translate the less obvious into the indentifiable.Abstactions from the world of emotions are my primary source of inspiration.Reality and fiction are interwoven to subsequently merge in ways not always readily perceivable.
Mass and volume are allocated new dimensions that consistently present a tension,expressing myselves thus into pieces of imposing sculpture.
This preference for suggested 'spatiality and volumes'is expressed not only in my sculptures but also in my waerable minisculptures made in 18 ct. gold and sterling silver.
my solid technical training at the vocational school for gold and silversmiths intertwined with my arts training in Tilburg and Breda,
they are the basis for my extraordinary skills.
