It plays a role in speaking and singing, kissing and sex, tasting and eating. By turning the lever at the right side of this more or less autistic object the tongue will move inside outside.

Jurgen Winkler graduated in biology from the University of Amsterdam. Some years later he also graduatied from the Gerrit Rietveld Academy (department: sculpture) in Amsterdam. As from 2007 he is working as a full time professional artist. His work is represented by the Suzanne Biederberg Gallery in Amsterdam. During the last years he had several solo- and groupexhibitions in the Netherlands, including the Gemeente Museum at The Hague (2011 and 2012).
