Born in the second half of XX-th century in Mazury region (Gizycko on Big Mazurian Lakes). Marek Czarnecki as an artist creates unique bronze sculptures which you can gather in over twenty galleries in Poland and abroad. He also is an author of prestigious statuettes, medals and tables; his works take place in private collection, where the biggest are J.Węgrzyn Warsaw Poland collection (over 80 sculptures), J&G Burgher Portland USA collection (about 50 sculptures); T.Lin Taipei Taiwan collection (about 20 sculptures); moreover there are smaller collections in many countries in six continents. As an archaeologist Marek Czarnecki makes a scientific excavations by medieval and ancient settlements and cemeteries.
Marek Czarnecki’s sculptures are unique, made freehand using the modified technique of burn wax in which the basic medium, besides burn wax, are all natural materials changing in effect of technological process in eternal bronze. This technique guarantees it is impossible to make a copy of the sculpture, or in fact more-or-less like it.

Marek Czarnecki’s sculptures took part in several exhibitions and competitions in Poland and abroad; they gave him several prices and awards. It implied raise of interest of his work - commissions from Polish Television, colleges, institutions and companies to design and make sculptures, medals and yearly given statuettes (i.e. for journalists’ “Eyes Open”, governments’ “Construction Oscars”, advertisement “The Crown of Advertisement”, public relations “The Golden Clip”, television “Protons”, “What melody is it?”, “Better Poland” and others).
