Elian Baartman

Elian Baartman is an independent artist who lives in Epe with her husband, two of their sons and her cat. She has applied her study of Graphic Design in Utrecht by working as a designer for her own studio. A strong visual urge for beauty in design, interior and art, made her decide to focus on her artwork.

Her works are an expression of her feeling of beauty on canvas. With her passion for art and interior she can create paintings which can make many spaces in your house more special and stylish. Elian’s paintings vary in styles from portrait paintings to abstract, black and white to colour, in small and big sizes.

Elian works with acrylic on canvas. By using different techniques, relief arises on the paintings. The woman faces are created by digitally combining and editing photographs into new original works of art. The digital images are printed and covered with acrylic paint, gel mediums and other coatings to create an original piece of art.
