I am self taught artist.
My artworks are mainly abstract and surrealistic automatic drawings. Charcoal and graphite on paper are my favorite medium.
Most of my drawings are created spontaneously, without any sketches, when hand is allowed to move randomly with a little influence from mind, I could say subconsciously.
Such drawing technique allows me to visualize the reality which is not seen by our human eye and could not be expressible with traditional or so called conscious drawing techniques.
Most of my drawings can be rotated 360 degrees - I often find a meaning of the drawing only by doing so. The surprising thing for me are the eyes, faces or objects which become noticeable when rotating the sheet of paper with completed drawing by 90, 180 or 270 degrees...
Even for me it is hard to believe that some of these drawings are created automatically by random movements of the drawing hand.
