ARTIST STATEMENT / BIOGRAPHY

Ley Mboramwe hails from the Democratic Republic of Congo. He completed his degree in fine art at the Academie des Beaux, overcoming the loss of his parents and in the midst of war.

The images he produces relate partially to his experiences of war in his country, the violence, killing, and looting of precious mineral resources from his home country of Congo.
