Yaari Kalathingal

Art to me is to create a portal that transports you elsewhere , confuses your senses, at the same time making your senses stronger and clearer to be able to understand the unanswerable or unexplainable.
I have explored and I keep exploring as I find myself journeying through different phases of my art career searching for my true voice.

Each painting is very dear to me. My interests keep shifting back and forth between Abstract, Fantasy or realistic Landscapes. Sometimes using paint brushes, sometimes other tools and sometimes only fingers.
Every art has a meaning to me and I don't think the viewer necessarily need to know the story or the emotions of the artist to relate to it or connect to it. There is this beauty of individual story/ a feeling each viewer gets upon seeing a piece. And that is what connects the viewer and attracts him/her to it. The painting speaks to each person differently. It is yours to feel?.

I'm a self taught artist.
I have done Bachelors in Functional English.
I continue to learn and develop my skill since I work as a full time artist in India bringing life using canvases on different walls in different homes.

•Upcoming exhibition : "#nofilter dxb" exhibiting At Dubai World Trade Center ,23-27 November 2021 with Noora the divine spark.

•Group exhibition 2020 At Thrissur lalitakala Akademi ,April ,cancelled due to Covid lockdown.
•Solo art exhibition planned for Dubai Dec 2020 could not work due to Covid restrictions.
Future exhibition will depend on the relaxation of lockdown restrictions
