Janis Baer

About Me:
I am a visual artist based in Mallorca, creating work for clients and collectors worldwide. My practice moves between two bodies of work: textured acrylic paintings for calm, contemporary interiors and finely detailed charcoal and graphite portraits on paper and canvas. The acrylic pieces are built in quiet layers of neutrals designed to harmonise with architectural spaces, while the portraits focus on precision and emotional presence.

Education:
My artistic practice has grown through many years of continuous studio work, close observation and experimentation with materials, alongside an ongoing self-directed study of contemporary painting and portrait drawing in acrylic, charcoal and graphite.

Exhibitions
Selected exhibitions include group and digital shows in Dubai, Mallorca and Miami, featuring portrait drawings and works created for architectural and interior environments, while I am currently developing a new series of textured acrylic paintings for future exhibitions and bespoke projects with interior designers and collectors.
