Maria Roza

Maria Roza, born in 1998 in Baku, is a young contemporary painter. Her works focus on humanity's relationship with animals and primitiveness, exploring the structural and functional characteristics of these relationships.The primary aim in Roza's works is to convey an eerie atmosphere to the viewer while simultaneously offering a safe haven.

Following her education at the Fine Arts High School of Ankara in 2016, Roza graduated from the Painting Department of Hacettepe University in 2020 and further advanced her education by completing the Master of Fine Arts Program at the same university.
