I consider myself an abstract, impressionist artist. I believe that as an artist, it’s imperative to explore outside my comfort zone. I welcome unpredictable and happy accidents. While I discover new ways to express myself, my goal is to inspire those who see my work to look more carefully at the world around them, discover the beauty, and invoke emotion in unexpected places.

I received my BFA in Entertainment Arts and Secondary Teaching Credential from California State University, Fullerton. For over 15 years, I've taught high school students in Southern California. My art is the result of my need to paint and create something unique and different; it is a challenge and an outlet; a discipline and a passion.
