Born in 1987 in Antratsyt, Luhansk region, Ukraine, Iryna Romanyshyn has shown a deep passion for art since early childhood. Despite her interest, her family initially did not envision her future as an artist. Following this path, Iryna first pursued a degree at Kharkiv National University of Economics. However, her dream, passion, and dedication to art ultimately prevailed, leading her to obtain a second degree in Interior Design from the Kharkiv Institute of Fashion and Design.
Iryna further refined her skills at a private family school of painting and drawing, where she studied under the guidance of professional artists O.O. Azarkin, M.A. Azarkina, and P.O. Azarkin. Here, she mastered the fundamentals of painting, academic drawing, and composition, with a focus on watercolor techniques.
In her work, Iryna blends classical traditions with a contemporary vision of art, incorporating a unique watercolor technique that has become central to her artistic identity. Her inspirations come from a wide range of artists, including Gustav Klimt, Ernst Fuchs, Albrecht Dürer, Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec, Salvador Dalí, and Mikalojus Čiurlionis, among others.
