Ashley Anne Veselis

Ashley’s work comes out of an experimental and playful practice. She pulls inspiration from her everyday changing experience and works with a strong, active intuition. Each artwork is made by an exchange of energy between the materials and the final surface, with her at the center, curating a dialogue. Natural themes emerge as Ashley is endlessly curious about the human condition and our emotions. Her work captures the unseen side of our lived experience.

Ashley holds a BS in Art Education from the University of Vermont and an MA in Art Business from Sotheby’s Institute of Art. She has worked in nearly every facet of the Art World from Vermont to New York, Los Angels and Boston. After working as an Art Advisor and launching a new art program for a national brand, Ashley has returned to her first loves: making art and teaching.
