Leah Devora

Born 1966 in Miami Beach, Fla.I'm an artist that fuses traditional painting techniques with a 3d animation painting program to create contemporary Pop Culture art.I currently live in a neighborhood in Los Angeles called Los Feliz which has been the influence of my artwork for the last 3 years. It was the first Beverly Hills of Old Hollywood and there is still a lot of Ghostlike energy that hangs over the area. I juxtapose contemporary motifs such as freeways, shopping carts and helicopters with old classic vintage Hollywood imagery.My work is a reflection of our consumer culture and imagery is a conveyance of my perception of that reality.
