Tatuska Artuska

I am an emerging abstract artist based in Málaga (Spain). My artist name is Tatuska and I make abstract artworks under my personal brand, Artuska.
My passion for architecture, decoration and interior design sparked my interest in painting and art, trying to fit modern paintings and artworks into the different decoration projects I have in mind. I currently develop both passions as I am taking a Master of Fine Arts in Interior Design, which fuels my inspiration when making each composition.
I am a self-taught person, I love to read about art and observe it. I am particularly interested in sculpture and painting since both move something inside me and maybe that’s what’s all about, reaching others with an image.
In my personal view, my artworks reflect how irregular shapes of different sizes, shapes and colors can create an harmonic composition that, without being realistic, transmits different feelings and sensations to the viewer.
My framework is formed by geometry, minimalism, simplicity, textures and colors; the structure of my artworks is also defined by the superposition of shapes, which, far from wanting to convey oppression, try to give space to each figure within chaos, thus conveying a certain sensation of freedom.
