Patricia Sanabria- Ibarra is a Visual Artist born in San Juan, Puerto Rico better known as Vikinga in the art street scene of the island. She began dedicating her life to become an artist very young, studying and graduating from the prestigious school of the arts Central High School of Visual Arts, specializing in painting with high honors.
Following, a BFA in Studio Painting with a minor in History of Art at the University of Puerto Rico where she holds leadership roles as president of the Association of Fine Arts Students among others. Her high competences and great passion for art, design and architecture directed her to Harvard Graduate School of Design where she completed a summer program in Landscaping Architecture receiving outstanding critiques. Likewise, she has an internship at the University of Salamanca, Spain at the Faculty of Fine Arts, in Studio Art and Theory of Art.
Her artwork has been presented in notorious spaces such as Miami Art Basel and Santurce es Ley. In 2017 the deadly Hurricane Maria hit Vikinga’s homeland causing 4,645 deaths and changing the artist forever. She flees to New Orleans, Louisiana escaping the disaster.
