Dear all,
This is Sathya self-taught freelance artist from Auroville.

I was born and got my primary education in a village called
Annainagar, which is located near Auroville.
From the age of twelve I have dreamed as a painter, and since then I
have always been passionate about painting. Since my early years I
have continuously pursued art as my way of expressing my instincts.

I have been living in Auroville for the past ten years. Auroville is
an international township also known as a city of dawn where The
purpose of the community is to realise human Unity.

I am fortunate to stay in this environment and learn about various
dimensions of life which includes permaculture farming and forestry
practiced over ten years in different places. This experience
stimulates in me a deep observation of the surrounding nature, and it
reveals itself in my art.

I feel that nature taught me constantly the truth of our life process.
I let myself flow in it; the momentum of the mood, light and shadow,
and the liveliness of everything that is then defined in my painting.
