Athanasios Bousios

Bio:

Athanasios Bousios was born in a village of northern Greece in 1954. He moved with his family to the Greek city of Larissa as a young kid.He started painting at the tender age of eleven years old as he found himself in a new environment that activated his curiosity and creativity.During his high school years he was encouraged by his art teacher of the time to show his work.
He got a degree from the Educational Academy of Larisa,and then he started his career as a primary school teacher,while painting remained his big love.Later on,he also taught his students art
lessons. His art revolves around certain sub,ect matters that moved him since was a child.The human
element that manages to maintain a clarity no matter the obstacles encaintered in life is his main
concern.The combination of nature and new technology stimulates the intensity of his images.
His Art world is both a world of many layers and textures,but also of a certain transparency.
