Esther Mbikayi

Esther Mbikayi, also known as Atix is a digital and multi-media artist whose work emanates pensiveness. Born in the DRC, raised in the UK, and now living in Norway; Atix’s work reflects the inward turning of a being in constant motion and the stillness within despite the many life changes.

Her art fuses digital and traditional art such as sculpting and painting. Her work explores philosophic ideas on emotions, actions, or thoughts through vibrant and warm colors. Atix's art blends portraits, scenes, and colors enabling the peregrination to a state of pensiveness.
