Ayse Doler

Born in Istanbul in 1959. Graduated from Saint Benoit Girls School and Istanbul Technical University – Faculty of Biology. Meanwhile, she painted. She completed her Masters in Milwaukee State University. Meanwhile, she painted. She completed her PhD. in Physiology in Istanbul Faculty of Medicine. Meanwhile, she painted. She continued her career as a researcher and a lecturer in the same department for 12 years. Meanwhile, she painted. She resigned in 1991. She founded an EEG biofeedback lab in 1993 with two other colleges. Meanwhile, she painted. In 2005, she retired from her profession entirely, handed down her lab and focused solely on painting.

During the time she worked at the University, she took miniature and manuscript illumination courses from Gulbin Meserra and her team in the Prof. Suheyl Unver atelier. Meanwhile, she painted. She continued the Ottoman Illumination art through her own interpretation and her own imagination, forming a unique style.
