“As early as I can remember, I dreamt about painting. In my dreams there were either actual works I’d seen or those I imagined I was drawing. Color and line were early fascinations, and I loved the freedom and challenge of using them on a 2D space. Asian Art I found haunting because the line almost does all the work and less is more seems fundamental to the sensibility. Instead of representational forms, I prefer bio-organic and abstract pieces mingling with elements from fantasies and visions. I see art as an unfolding of the deeper reality and a joyous exploration.”
