Barbara Green

Barbara Green - is a Russian artist, her paintings are reflecting the plots of the modern world, when technology has become an integral part of our lives. Today we can't imagine our day without our smartphones, computers or social networks. All these addictions are main themes that she is trying to convey in her works. In each picture, there is one or another symbol with which the artist wants to reflect the imperfection of modernity. In her works, Barbara indicates how involved are people in modern technology and how addicted they are. How we hide ourselves behind the screens of our gadgets and become dependent on public opinion. She works mainly with oil paints and digital art illustration style.

Barbara Green was born in Bender in 1985. The path to the world of art began from early childhood, her father was an artist and most of the time she spent in his workshop. Then she studied at the School of Fine Arts with a teacher who taught her students the basics of academic painting and drawing, and then entered the Art Lyceum, where she received a secondary special education at the Faculty of Graphics. Then she decided to continue her education and she entered the first year at the Academy of Arts. After a year of training, Barbara decided to move to live in Moscow.
