Isabelle Barnasson

I have lived in Provence for 31 years. I grew up with an immense love for painting and art history.

I became interested in oil and pastel painting very early on. Developing very quickly a realistic and figurative painting, I am a colorist at heart.
I took fine arts classes in Grenoble in the evening (France) when I was a student in Art History, but I mainly learned with my Parisian mentor, Van Cleff who taught me pastel and the oil.
Today I free myself from all these teachings to explore my inner world, my secret garden. Return to simplicity, authenticity of line, and encourage everyone to discover their inner garden, their secret garden.
