Broder Burow

My career has been shaped by craftsmanship and a passion for creative activities. The training in carpentry allowed me to learn the fundamentals, including the use of tools and machines. This apprenticeship laid the foundation for my later artistic work and imparted not only technical skills but also a deep understanding of the material wood. The transition to artistic activity occurred quite naturally over time.

1965-1968: Carpentry apprenticeship
1969-1970: Training as a therapeutic educator
1972-1978: Training and employment as a turner
Since 1978: Self-employed with my own studio and workshop
