Recent work has incorporated elements of autobiography, with a focus on the documentation of motherhood. Cross disciplinary and experiential by nature, my practice is diverse, spanning writing, drawing, painting, ceramics, textiles, mixed media, installation, film and songwriting. Each smaller piece, fitting together to create a puzzlelike patchwork, of items and objects that follow similar and connected threads of thought. Natural forms, anthropology, feminism, birth, nests, home, the mundane, materials, explorations, creativity, biology and scifi, colour and abstraction all feature. I like to work project by project often in collaboration with others, allowing hat influence and practical research to impact the work.
