Meriem Benzid

Meriem Benzid is a Tunisian-born artist based in Poland. Her paintings explore identity, emotions, and the human condition through expressive colors, textures, and abstract figurative forms.

I paint as a way of translating what cannot be said with words. For me, art is both survival and freedom a place where my emotions find their own language. Each canvas reflects fragments of my life, my travels, and my inner world. I am inspired by nature, music, and the contrasts between my Mediterranean roots and my European experience.

My work invites the viewer to confront emotions, to feel rather than simply observe, and to find pieces of their own story within the layers of color and form.
