Tony Feyer

I live in New York City and grew up on the Bowery where I still reside. I moved to the Bowery in 1981 which was in a glorious state of decay, rife with hookers, junkies and miscreants of all kinds. Having grown up in an edgy environment, I have always been drawn to eccentric and unusual aspects of culture which I have tried to reflect in this work. Berlin has a particular attraction to me because it still has a thriving sub culture which is no longer as evident in New York. In addition to these collages, I am primarily a painter. The work represented here is a commercial project geared towards the boutique hotels, interior decorators and corporate offices.
