Bilha Chelibwa Simwenyi

Biography: Art has always been a part of me, it
was there with my father when he died and
thanks to him it’s here with me every day. It’s
what has created the woman I am today. The
dedication and determination required to achieve
a perfect painting has taught me how to cope
with anything that comes my way in life. When I
was born, the first thing my parents taught me
was to see the light within the dark trees shadows
and make it beautiful. That is why I paint.
