Björn Maaß

Spending at least a few months in many different countries over the last years shaped my interests and the way I work. There are steadily new things raising my attention which are worth spending a few thoughts on. Challenging myself is a constant motivation for me, and putting that to use by embracing new cultures gives me new perspectives that enable me to come up with new creations or new series.

Staying physically active is my preferred way to soothe a very busy mind. And if I was asked for my favorite place to do so, 'ocean' would be the first and sincerest thought.

Currently finishing my masters' degree in Germany while living in Africa, art/art education being my major and physical education my second subject.
