Boaz Torfstein

I described my work as Visual Anthropology. One of my favorite anthropologists described the essence of anthropology as: "challenging the obvious". I try taking the same approach to my art. By using simple, small alterations to my work I urge the viewer to re-asses his perception of obvious sights.
