Bob Benvenuto

Bob was born and raised in New York City, where he attended The School of Visual Arts. After finishing his undergraduate degree he completed his masters in Expressive Therapies at Lesley College in Cambridge Massachusetts. During that time he was an emerging Boston artist with two solo and several group exhibits of very large paintings evoking ancient walls worn by time and exposing past histories. In 1988 Bob moved to Colorado and began a new direction in his art. The artist opened a small textile printing studio where intricate stencils were hand cut and printed on fabric, clothing and linens in limited editions for the retail market in Japan, England and the United States. He began using digital photography in 1997 as a design tool and it has been his primary means of expression since then.
