Now living in Portland, Maine, I'm a New York transplant.I am a visual artist/painter interested in the visual structure of the world around me, of how those basic relationships of forms and color inform our ideas of who we are.My interest is in capturing the ephemeral, people, places, things that will be lost forever. I want to eat them up, digest them, capture them in paint, hold them fast before they disappear.
I received my BFA from the Cooper Union School of Art in New York city, and later studied at the Boston University School of Art, Boston, MA. I exhibit regularly. My work is in private and corporate collections in the United States and Europe. An abbreviated list of my exhibition venues, solo, juried and group, include: The Hay Gallery, Davidson and Daughters Contemporary Art, the Aucocisco Gallery, The Eastland Gallery, the University of Southern Maine, all in Portland Maine; The Couler Collection,Falmouth,Maine, The Center for Contemporary Art,Rockport,Maine, The Farnsworth Museum,Rockland, Maine, The University of New England,Biddeford,Maine, the Brockton Art Museum,Brockton, MA, the San Antonio Museum of Art,San Antonio,Texas, The Cannon Rotunda of the House of Representatives, Washington, DC., The Master Eagle Gallery, NYC, Florida State University, Tallehassee,Florida, Rivier College, Nashua,New Hampshire,
