Boris Joseph

Boris Joseph was born in 1974 in Paris. He studies Architecture and Plastic Arts. It is during humanitarian missions, in India, that he starts practising photography and video. It is the beginning of a series of numerous trips which will take him back to Asia again and again. In India, he is achieving a thorough study of the Untouchables. In Tibet, since 2005, he has been focusing his attention on the changes that the country has known after 50 years of colonization. Since 2008, he has published in many magazines such as Le Monde 2, GEO, Newsweek, Corriere dela Serra, La Vie, AftenPosten, The independent or the Sunday Times...
Several of his pictures of Tibet have been acquired by the Bibliothèque Nationale de France. In 2007, he obtained the Special mention of the Kodak Prize of Critic, and in 2008, the Special mention of the Roger Pic Prize from SCAM.
