Jeffrey Bowman

Working mostly in oils on large canvas, I try to capture moments or thoughts within a short time. For me, art is just as much the creative process as it is the final piece itself. From finding my pallet in a book to setting interesting parameters and limitations to follow during application, it’s all part of the artistic experience I try to share with the viewer.

I enjoy creating puzzles within my work that encourages the viewer to discover my inspiration, hidden knowledge, and theories of reality, in the hopes of expanding their perspectives. Occasionally I produce original music and video art to accompany my work and help create a reality in which the piece can exist.

I love testing reality, pushing the limits of creative expression, and exploring all the magick this world has to offer.
