Milena Kafol

Milena Kafol was born in 1947. From 1965 to 1970 she studied languages at the Faculty of Arts in Ljubljana and she worked as a sales manager and translator for 20 years. She found her artistic expression in different areas of art; from 1991 to 2005 she dealt with fashion – she designed clothes in her own boutique and for different fashion shows. In 2010 she enrolled in the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Ljubljana as a full-time student, where she graduated in 2013 and got Master’s degree in 2016 at the same Academy, with Prof. Bojan Gorenc and Prof. Jure Mikuž.
She exhibited her work in several solo and group exhibitions. She is a member of the Association of Slovenia Fine Artists Society and of the Fine Artists Societies in Kranj and Ljubljana.
She lives and works in Ljubljana.
