Bruce Bensal

I am a 70-year-old free thinking abstract artist originally from Teaneck New Jersey where my love for art was conceived at an early age of nine years old watching my older sister paint with oils. The smell of the oil paint sparked my curiosity which, lured me into an intoxication of my own willingness and desire to step into a world where I could experience how the oil paint and the paint brush interacted with contact on my canvas. And that is where my journey began. I studied layout and design at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City. Creating and exploring with my fellow artist during the 70’s allowed me to be dive into creating placement concept in the abstract channel. Bold abstract painting is where space and limits connect me to create an objectively balance of our world and the outer dimensions. I am always attracted to the power of color and lines with great freedom of a blank canvas.
