Boris Shpeizman

Born in Leningrad, USSR; finished Dental School and in 1988 moved to Israel. After 10 years of working as a dentist changed carrier to Arts and Glass Blowing in particular. For the last 6 years was studying techniques of Glass Blowing and Art all over the world: Israel, USA and Czech. currently teaches at Bezalel Academy of Art and Design and working at his studio TrioVetro in Tel Aviv.

Glass is usually a "blonde" of the art. I strive to change it by to combining glass and contemporary art. In my sculptures I am exploring interactions between human flesh and glass.
